What is The Attorneys On Retainer Association?

The Attorneys On Retainer Association (“AOR Association”) is a national non-profit organization built to support and advance the rights of business owners, firearms enthusiasts, and self-defense trainers nationally. The association provides essential resources, online training and education, activist litigation, criminal and civil legal protection, and additional support to our business entity and individual affiliates. All members of AOR are automatically Freedom Affiliates of The Attorneys On Retainer Association when they join. All affiliates are eligible to earn commissions by promoting online training and education through our formal association.
How The AOR Association Works
The Attorneys On Retainer Association is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization. As a non-profit charitable organization, the association has no owners. The AOR Association’s mission is to serve and support its affiliate members. The association was created by and operates in coordination with The Attorneys For Freedom Law Firm (“AFF”), which administers AOR’s emergency hotline providing 24/7/365 emergency legal advice to all affiliates of the AOR Association who find themselves in an emergency resulting from a self-defense-related legal matter. The Attorneys On Retainer Association wholly owns The Attorneys For Freedom Risk Retention Group, Inc. (“AFF-RRG”), which provides essential and comprehensive coverage for legal representation in specific circumstances for affiliates.
Through various contractual relationships, The Attorneys For Freedom Law Firm manages and operates all aspects of The AOR Association and AFF-RRG. This contractual arrangement was necessary to strictly preserve attorney-client privilege and confidentiality for all affiliates. All information about all affiliates remains solely with the law firm at all times.

All affiliates automatically receive online firearms and self-defense training and education immediately upon membership acceptance. All affiliates can earn commissions by recommending AOR to other business entities and individuals who join. All affiliates will also be invited to attend a periodic conference with lectures and events of interest to the AOR community.
