Tennessee permits both open and concealed carry without a license for individuals 21 and older, as well as for those 18 or older who are active-duty military members or have been honorably discharged and have completed basic training. Eligible individuals must be legally allowed to possess a handgun, be in a location where they have a lawful right to be, and meet three additional conditions specified by state law.
