We’re excited to introduce a new addition to The Attorneys On Retainer media lineup, “Armed and Fabulous.” Criminal defense attorneys Marc J. Ms. Liberty’s journey toward advocacy began with a traumatic experience. After moving from New York to Florida, she was attacked and nearly abducted in a “gun-free zone.”

Gun-free zones, often disarm law-abiding citizens and do little to deter criminals. These areas are designated as “sensitive places” under various state laws. However, they make individuals more vulnerable, not safer.

Victim to Advocate
After relocating to Arizona, Ms. Liberty immersed herself in the freedom advocacy community. She got involved with Women for Gun Rights and quickly found herself testifying before the Arizona legislature about proposed firearm laws. She explains that one senator’s flippant remark in response highlights the importance of civic engagement.
