Attorneys On Retainer Adds HUGE New Benefits: How We Did It (Abridged Explanation)
April 2, 2025
The Attorneys On Retainer Program (AOR) has added new benefits. Criminal defense attorneys Andrew C. Marcantel and Marc J. Victor discuss the benefits.
“We told you we weren’t going to settle for the second-best program and we’re not done yet.”
Key New Benefits:
The upgraded AOR Program now includes a wide range of enhanced benefits. Members will receive red flag coverage. Civil liability coverage is also now included. The program provides expungement and record sealing coverage, assisting members in clearing eligible criminal records. Businesses can now enroll in the program.
Additionally, a portion of each membership fee supports a new pro bono effort that advances Second Amendment and pro-freedom rights nationwide. Members can also benefit from an affiliate referral program, earning money for successfully referring others. Members will also gain access to online self-defense training and education, designed to educate and empower individuals.
No Traditional Insurance Involvement
The attorneys emphasized that they rejected traditional insurance, citing their history of denying claims, undermining attorney-client privilege, and their constant “reimbursement clauses.” AOR established its own Risk Retention Group (RRG) under federal law – giving full control over claims and coverage decisions to The Attorneys For Freedom Law Firm (AFF). AFF now exclusively handles self-defense cases.
“Every lawyer at our firm is going to really drill down on self-defense law. That’s all we do.”
Membership Transition and Rate Lock
All current and future members must upgrade to The AOR Program to receive the expanded benefits. Members who join or upgrade before the end of 2025 will lock in our current rate through 2030.
